Im not pg. Just another "normal" unfertile month. Ugh. Seriously, will it ever end? I got good ole AF Thanksgiving morning, right before my inlaws showed up to spend an oh so happy thanksgiving weekend with us. I can say that I did manage to have some fun with the help of a few bottles of wine. But as always, there was the usual talk of the grandchildren in the family (obviously, none of which are mine) and the oh so wonderful things they do and say. *sigh* I must say that my dogs are particulary cute and well quite possibly the only grandchildren I may ever provide.
So, I get to call and tell the Dr.s office that I once again failed this mission despite all the drugs and positive thinking they provided. Before I do that, I am going to call a different specialist and see if I can get an appointment there. If I can sometime in december, I will not schedule any more appts with my now dr. and just move on in the medical world. If not, the I will make the first appt I can with said fertility specialist and do one more cycle in the mean time with my now dr.
I do feel particulary bad since I LOVE LOVE my current dr. That being said, she is only open mon-wed from 830-4 and while she is really close to home and work, its kind of tough to work out that schedule sometimes. Plus, if we move onto IUI (which I want to) I really need a more flexible schedule since my body as uncooperative as it is will be calling the shots on when this will take place.
That's my not so happy update. I will let you all know when I find out whats going on for this dec. cycle. Wish me luck!

2 eggies!
I had my follicle check (translation: egg counting procedure). Everything looks good. I have a good sized egg on my right ovary. The size is 19. They want anything over 18. So its good to go. Then on my left side I have one that is 32!!! Holy Guacamole!!! That's really big but with big comes old as it takes days to grow eggs. Its so big in fact that it may not be a viable egg. But then what the heck do we know. It could be. So, I have the possibility of twins or triplets if my one of my eggs decides to be an overachiever. Thus far, I am not counting on it. They seem pretty stubborn to me.
After all that was said and done it was time to get the shot to force my stubborn egg holding body into ovulation. Kind of like a stick up "let go of those eggs!" Ha, at least I see it that way. Someone needs to push those ovaries around. They do not listen to me. So I got a huge amount of fluid injected into my butt cheek. Ouchie!!! Then I got a headache from it cause we all know hormones are a flippin wonderful! But I am on my way to ovulating! Wish me luck and pray for multiples!!!! I don't want to go through this again.

Aggravated
Maybe its the Clomid (litter making medicine) or perhaps I am just a beeotch....but I am so flippin irritated today! First of all I had THE WORST most stressful day at work. Again, maybe its the meds but I just wanted to scream and run! Then all day all I have to hear is this stupid crap about the presidency. I understand its an important issue but its a done deal. Move on with life people. For real!!!!
Then on my way home my husband feels it necessary to talk about yet another expensive house. I am sick to death of the expensive house talk. I am not giving up on this fight. We are NOT buying an expensive house! I just found out that I am getting extra money a month and what do I think? I think "great...we have more to put away to fund our baby" and "in the event we do get pg, we can use the money so I can stay home with the baby." What does he do? Goes out and looks at expensive houses to buy. Him "well, with extra money, we can buy a bigger house" WTF!? Then he tells me that the baby IS his first priority. Gee...couldve freaking fooled me!
I would love a big huge house but at this point whats a house when you have no one to fill it with. Just a big empty house. So, what's the point? I do not want to buy an expensive house becasue if and when I do get a baby, I want to stay home and raise it. I sure as heck did not go through all this crap to put my baby in daycare for 10 hours a day from the time its 6wks old. Apparently, my husband doesn't quite understand that I am SOOOO serious about this house thing. Its not happening.
Ok. I just had to get that out! So annoying!!!

New Plan
So, I talked to the dr. today. She upped my litter making medicine and then I am also going to have a HCG injection next wednesday to make me ovulate earlier. I have not been ovulating until day 16 or 17 even though my eggs have been ready by day 12! So, I am super happy about this. Wish me luck!!!!
